Free seatbelt deactivation bar install.

I purchased a seatbelt deactivation bar for my 2002 Boxster. I took it Barrier Motors (Bellevue, WA) to have them install it.

Initially they said it would be 1 hour of labor, but when I got there, the told me Porsche covered the costs. He said Porsche did this to discourage people from attempting the install themselves.

I don't know if there is a written policy to that effect.....don't care! Anytime day you can leave the service dept with a big fat $0 on your bill is a good day.
