Rear Speakers
OK, I give up. I am trying to put speakers in the rear of my Boxster and so far it looks like a $750-800 project. I do not have a rear storage compartment ($500-600) and do not really want to buy OEM speakers($225+) I just want to put a little background sound in the car. It appears that there is only about 4.5 inches of vertical space to work with. All the speakers I have seen, pioneer series TS-X### are taller than that. Anyone know of a reasonable speaker that will work?

Keep an eye on ebay for a rear storage compartment.

There's one on eBay currently in grey at under a hundred bucks. If you really like your Boxster, you will keep it looking factory instead of hanging some Radio Shack speakers out in back (just kidding; I know you wouldn't do that!)
