Boxster Rear Spoiler Problem
Hey everyone,
Having a little problem with a 2002 Boxster. It seems the rear spoiler has decided that it likes being up and out in the sun and doesn't want to go back down. Is this a common problem? How do I fix it? Thanks for the help |

Have you tried manually retracting it? There is a toggle switch on a panel just forward of the driver door inside the passenger compartment near the clutch pedal for manually extending and retracting the spoiler. If it doesn't move when the switch has been pushed I'd check for a blown fuse then a bad relay. If it does retract and extend using the switch (make sure it does both) then the problem probably lies in the automatic switch.

on this subject; is there any way to adjust the deployment speed downward, say @ 65mph instead of 75mph? I know that there's a manual switch hack, but that's a second choice...
