Boxster alarm

Does anybody out have any idea why my Boxster (1999) goes off for no reason? Please help it is driving me crazy.

This may sound strange and might not even be related to your issue, But another owner's alarm kept going off at night for no apparent reason. After a wile he realized it would happen every time he heated something in the microwave. His kitchen was next to his garage and somehow the microwave was triggering his alarm.
Others have also said a moth or hanging mirror tag for parking moving around inside their car has set off the motion sensors.

Mine was due to the rear trunk latch. Replaced the latch and the the problem was solved. It was also running the battery down.

Hopefully by now you have sorted your problem out. Let us know.
