Help!!! US Car need Canadian daytime running lights

Hi all, recently purchased a 2001 Porsche Boxster S from the US, need to meet Canadian specs, how do I get daytime running lights working?

Have you tried this? Has there been any problems (electrical) with it?

The hack works fine with no real problems. The only thing to be aware of is that the tail lights do not go on , and at night you have to put your lights on. Easy . Ed
