Boxster check oil level message
I'm trying to find out what conditions cause the "check oil level" message to be displayed. I have a 2007 Boxster. The oil level is within 1/2 bar of full when I check it cold. However, this morning after stopping to get gas, the computer displayed the "check oil level" message. The oil level was fine. Is this displayed for other conditions?

I noticed mine went from full this morning to half way this afternoon. Only done about 5 miles and no sign of oil. I'll see what it says later.
