Engine upgrade for boxter-help!

I have a 1998 Boxter with a blown engine, I am low on cash, what is the easiest, best, cheapest upgrade for my car?

There is no cheapest upgrade.

You could buy a used engine, but you already have one. See if the one you have can be repaired.
If those options don't work, then a Porsche reman unit, plus all the upgrades and extra parts (clutch, flywheel, coolant tank etc..) would be the answer.

Or sell the car as is.

How difficult is it to install a 3.2l engine from a boxter s?

Roock has a place in Atlanta. Near Howell Mill Rd and I 75. Go see them. They have several options for you to consider. If mine ever blows, I would like to do a 3.4 and perhaps a supercharger to boot, if I get a new or remanufactured engine.

autowiz, Do you know if yours was one of the sleeved engines from 98? If so you might want to consider contacting PCNA for help.

I think it depends on what your budget is.
If its not your daily driver, deffinitly go with a build on your own time.
Do you know the cause of of the faliar?
