boxster muffler prototype

Ben, it will be interesting to see what you think of the prototype. A fellow I know made a similar muffler from pieces at a local muffler shop. The car was loud (not in a good way) and required ear plugs while driving. With your expertise, I would expect much better.

I have not gotten ahold of the guy so it will be a while longer but I think it should be fine. I am looking at specifically the spec racers this would be perfect for them .

The friend I was referring to had it on a 2.5 spec racer (Rizzo) and it sounded nasty at Autobahn CC before he yanked it for something more tame.
Do you intend any for street use? As I posted earlier, the Boxster group is always searching for more sound without the aftermarket drone and resonance. |
here you go we ran it on an 01 today and wow it was perfect not to loud at all. this is the quietest muffler I have ever made.
