For Sale: 99 Boxster Roll Over
This is just a heads up to Boxster owners on this board (Hey, I'm a 914 guy).
'99 Boxster, 66K, immaculate care. Roll over (mid turn throttle lift). Car located in Las Vegas, NV. Current person who has vehicle wants to sell the engine / tranny complete for $4600. Still in car, car still driveable. He may be inticed to sell the whole thing, but you gotta do the talking. I know of one offer of $4K for the entire vehicle. If anyone has any interest, PM me and I will provide the information as to who has the vehicle. Not gonna post it here. I have no interest in this deal other than to help move it.

Mid turn throttle lift shouldn't induce a Boxster into a rollover...they are soooo neutral.

Well, I just assumed that is what he did when he passed another car on a PCA run on the outside of a corner at 80+ MPH. Car rolled twice before landing on it's wheels. From what I understand, his wife was most happy about it and the owner of the borrowed car was probably most happy too!
More than likely, when they get around to it, you can purchase parts from it off Las Vegas Craigslist. I'm out.

Most likely dropped two wheels, then over-corrected; seen it many times before as a Chicago PCA (and other clubs) instructor.
Too bad, but glad no one was injured but the car.
