Cayman 5spd Torque Biasing Differential

You asked for it and we listened. Our customers told us that for owners of the 5spd cars (which includes the 987 chassis Boxsters) a $2500 LSD was just more than they wanted to put into their cars. Since these cars are not being raced at the same level that the S cars are, it seems that a true locking LSD just isn't needed. So what we did was build a torque biasing differential for them. It's 70% of the price of an LSD and will give you a lot of the same performance.

If you have any questions about how one of these works, or about differentials in general, please don't hesitate to ask.

Regards,

Matt Monson
