Cayman 5spd Torque Biasing Differential
![]() You asked for it and we listened. Our customers told us that for owners of the 5spd cars (which includes the 987 chassis Boxsters) a $2500 LSD was just more than they wanted to put into their cars. Since these cars are not being raced at the same level that the S cars are, it seems that a true locking LSD just isn't needed. So what we did was build a torque biasing differential for them. It's 70% of the price of an LSD and will give you a lot of the same performance. If you have any questions about how one of these works, or about differentials in general, please don't hesitate to ask. Regards, Matt Monson Guard Transmission LLC
