O2 Sensor / Cat Code

Hello Gang

I was minding my own business driving on the freeway when the CEL light came on.

I immediately checked the code with my Durametric Scanner and got the following codes;

P0430 Porsche fault code 45 Cat conversion bank 2 exceeds limit value
P0159 Porsche fault code 23 Sensor ageing behind cat. conv cylinder 4-6

I suspect the problem is a bad O2 sensor behind the cat, bank 2

Anyone have a similar code?
Anyone fix it themselves?
How did you do it?

You swap with a new sensor

Just did it myself 10 days ago. I was lazy and had my local tire dealer install it for me. $37 labor (try that at a dealer). Ordered Bosch OEM part..see link for part #s.

Same day did my Honda...same OEM part but not Honda marked up price and $37. for the install.

Beware that area is hot so if you DIY it let it cool before reaching your hands in there.
