Cayman S Filters

I just bought a 2006 Cayman S and would like to change the air filter & cabin pollen filter myself but don't know where they are.... Additionally where do you gain access to the oil filter. I assume the oil drain plug is underneath the car. The nearest dealers are 2 hours away so I'd like to do these minor things on my own!

Any help appreciated....

Thank you, seems like it's more complicated than I thought. I think I'll just but the parts and take it to a Dealer to do the labor!

No...you can do it.

If I can....

Don't be scared of the Porsche, it is just a car. It takes to novice wrenching for some things, and requires a specialist for others. Learn to differentiate and you save $ and gain pride and confidence.

For some reason the pictures didnt show up the last time I looked, NOW that I see the pictures it's much less intimidating. The only thing I think I'd leave to the Dealer is the air filter as that seems to be the most complex.

Just ran across this. FWIW, car needs to be level to get all the oil out. Most likely if you are doing the change the way the pic shows you will not get all the oil out and may be over filling if you are just putting in what the book calls for. Might want to check it out. Nice documentation though. If you have a tip do not even try it with out being level.
