My 2000S is almost a garage queen with 19k miles in almost 9.5 years. I replaced the battery this past April. This afternoon we were scheduled for our weekly run however she will not turn over. All dash lites function, head lites, radio etc function fine. Just no power to the motor.
Any thoughts would be very welcome Thanks in advance. |

1.make sure the clutch switch is engaged(depressed). The starter will not engage without that signal.
2.maybe the ignition housing is giving you problems if it has never been replaced at that low mileage. |

Thanks, Eric. I took your suggestion & fully depressed clutch and she fired right up! Never happened before in my 9.5 years with her. Thanks again.

It is always nice when the solution is simple AND cheap.

I'm adding the clutch switch to my list of projects for the new book! Just did that yesterday!
