electrical issue door lights!
I have question after month without start car, i went today crank it battery was low, so i charge battery and car stars right away,, well i noted since i bout car the little light in driver door stay on, when i close the car without looking it ..the little light stay on even i watch it for 15 minutes the dash light goes away after 2 minutes but the little red light stays on!!! when i lock the car it stay a minute and then goes away, any way i went and pup off the light and remove the little bolt, so now i don't have llight at all wil this cause electric system short? or that will be fine !!!, will be possible in dealer can program this little light to go away after seconds or so!! whats is wrong with my car? i really don't care to have door lights> i can live without them! thanks

You probably have a bad door light switch, which is causing the light to stay on. Even with a bad switch, it should turn off after about 2 hours or so. You don't have to worry about an electrical short, but you might want to fix the switch. I have an article coming on that too...
