Body Shop Recommendation in OC?
Hi all,
My 02 Boxster was just rear ended and there is rear suspension damage. I need a collision repair shop, in Orange County, CA, with frame checking capability to determine if the geometry is still true. Also, any information on determining diminished valve and getting compensated for it would be greatly appreciated. TIA Last edited by seventythree; 12-01-2010 at 07:44 AM.. |

Be prepared for a "totaled" letter from your insurance company..or theirs.
My insurance company took my '99 (5 years ago) and when the body shop stopped counting costs at 80% of the value of the car, they decided to send me a check for $2k more than I paid for the car 3 months earlier. Airbags, frame damage, etc will all trigger an immediate total by a responsible insurance company. They don't want to be insuring a car of doubtful safety even if repaired. My experience was written up here... |

Class Auto in Long Beach has the Porsche recommended Celete chassis alignment fixtures. This is where Circle Porsche sends their cars & PCNA has sent their Press fleet cars also.

There are Porsche dealers all over. Find out who has a body shop and who doesn't. Maybe McKenna does, I don't think Newport has one. Cirlce doesn't and that's why Class gets their work. Pacific, I don't know but I don't think so. In OC there are a lot of independents to ask. Prestige in HB does do light bodywork and painting. Stuttgart Performance in Costa Mesa is a top level shop that would know where the car should go. |
