Windscreen Latches
Has anyone replaced the windscreen latches. Not the ones on the rollbar but on the windscreen itself. How are they attached? I need to replace the drivers side on my boxster. Are they just a press fit?

I broke one on my 986. It's been a few years, but if I recall correctly part of the latch remained in the mounting point. I drilled it out with a small bit and I think the replacement just snapped in place.

Small screwdriver they pop right out.
Careful how you press them back. You could break the small springy plastic tab. Ask me how I know. |
