max rear camber with PSS9

Hi,

i got hold of some reasonable priced used PSS9 and was wondering if someone who has PSS9 could tell me what the max neg REAR camber is I can get w/o additional camber plates or GT3 control arms. BTW: I have rear adjustable toe links
I was hoping for -2.5 degree

For the front I have GT3 lower control arms, so I am all set there

Thanks

This is for a 2002 986S

Interesting question. The PSS9 system doesn't have adjustability for camber. The system is adjustable for height and for spring damper. However, when you lower the car, your camber will change, and you will have increased negative camber. This is because the suspension geometry along the upper arm increases in angle, while the lower arm largely stays the same, resulting in the top of the wheel slightly pulling inwards.

When we installed the PSS9 kit on my Boxster, we introduced a *lot* of negative camber because I lowered the car way down. I don't have exact measurements, but it was immediately visibly noticeable.

On our Spec Boxster racecar with PSS9 shocks we were able to get 2.9 degrees in the rear. The bottom of the fender is maybe .5" above top of tire (255/40/17). Should be able to get 2.5 degrees easy. We do have the adjustable toe links to get the toe out.
