Has anyone installed Pedro's Techno Torque in a 2.7 Boxster and if so what is your opinion of the performance increase? I am poised to order one to install this spring and would welcome any advice etc. on this upgrade. Seems like it is a less expensive version of the one offered by Speedmerchants IPD intake Plenum. A slight air ram effect would account for the torque increase I assume. Any problems in installation one should watch for? If this topic has been covered previously please head me in the right direction as a search for 'Techno Torque' came up blank.
Just received Wayne's book, 101 Projects and it has me fired up to do some mods again this spring. AKL |

Thanks, low end torque is just where it is needed. Have to look into the intake for sure.

Found a lot of discussion on this subject on the 986Forum. Plenty of pros & cons.

I haven't really seen dyno tests on this. Until you run it on the dyno blindly, then it's all conjecture...
