Question Pedro's Techno Torque

Has anyone installed Pedro's Techno Torque in a 2.7 Boxster and if so what is your opinion of the performance increase? I am poised to order one to install this spring and would welcome any advice etc. on this upgrade. Seems like it is a less expensive version of the one offered by Speedmerchants IPD intake Plenum. A slight air ram effect would account for the torque increase I assume. Any problems in installation one should watch for? If this topic has been covered previously please head me in the right direction as a search for 'Techno Torque' came up blank.

Just received Wayne's book, 101 Projects and it has me fired up to do some mods again this spring.

I haven't installed it but will be ordering one for my 2.5L as I've read on several forums that it along with the EVO cold air intake will bring on the max hp and torque much lower in the rpm range than stock. HP gains are minimal but having the existing hp come on sooner would be a big help to me in AX. I already scored the EVO cold air intake new on eBay for $145, they sell new for $399 at Suncoast which is the standard going price.

Thanks, low end torque is just where it is needed. Have to look into the intake for sure.

Info found

Found a lot of discussion on this subject on the 986Forum. Plenty of pros & cons.
