p0430 code
 

p0430 this is a bank 2 cat code what side of the car is is bank 2 half of what I read gives me left side and half gives me right side so do's any one no for sure what side bank 2 is

The ODB guidelines state that bank 1 is always downstream of cylinder one. So, Bank 1 would be on the right side of the Boxster as you are sitting in the car driving it (left side of the 996). I'm pretty sure this is correct, although I didn't verify with the Porsche manuals in case they adopted a different standard.
