Good luck. Search craigslist & ebay, but they don't go cheap. I searched for months. We ended up ordering fiberglass roofs from GT Racing.

I paid about $1K for mine. You can't easily ship these, so you need to buy them locally. The good news is that the seller can't easily ship them, so local buyers rule, and that seems to keep the pricing down a bit.

There are those who make them especially light and specifically for racing. Since the weight is high, this is important while racing. Ads in Excellence Mag. No need for the sound deadening or de-icer stuff the street car would benefit from.

Thanks to all that replied. I think I found one already. Not the super $1k deal but not too much more.

I have looked sporadically. A few years ago they were plentiful on CL. I think there might have been some theft involved because all of a sudden they weren't advertised anymore and the price went up.
If anyone sees one (especially a Guards Red), let me know as I would still buy one. |

FYI...i have used "USHIP" to pick-up and deliver my tops. i have done this twice without issue. you go on line & tell them the stats. e.g. weight & dimensions, where to pu&del. you put in a "min." that you want to pay. they will come back and tell you that you are low and the average you should pay. you stick to your min. and i have found that you will find a carrier out there will do it. again i have done this twice, az to ca and tx to ca. they picked up the top, wrapped it in blankets, tied it to the side of the truck (inside), and delivered it to my door. each time for $100. it may take a week or two but...
