Humming noise from door hinge

Just bought myself a RHD 986 Boxster S and after driving for say 1/2 hr, I hear this faint humming noise. It seems to come from the area of the right door hinge, where the connector is located for all the door electrics. It hums intermittently, for a few seconds.

Had another Boxster S before this and never had the problem.

Anyone any idea what it could be

my car makes a high pitched hum from similiar area when turning and on the gas. Have not determined yet what it is, was thinking maybe the front wheel or brake rubbing? Hard to isolate where noises actually come from. To me, it sounds like wind blowing over the top of a bottle, but I don't think mine is from wind.
