2002 Boxster S starting issue
Car has 145000 miles. It start right away but shuts off when hot (180 ), it doesn't matter how much I try, it wont start back. left it overnight but still no sign. try to push start which worked. it start now and then but shuts off again.
I read about crankshaft sensor can be the reason, but not sure. Does anybody have any idea from where I should start? Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

If available check for fault code's.
If not, I would try another crank sensor. Check out [try another] the main DME relay and fuel injection, Ignition, Ox, combo relay relay. If no start again send the ECU off to get checked out? |

I replaced the camshaft position sensor, so far it start every time. I haven't drove it yet, but I did start and let it run for 20-30 min, and restart again, morning, night, hot or cold. it seems to be working fine.
