How to loosen screws behing steer whl ?

I inserted the T30 screwdriver into the backside of the steering wheel to remove the airbag frame. The T30 seats fine into the screw head, but cannot turn... my T30 socket won't reach. Am I OK to muscle the screwdriver with vice grips, or am I missing something....

Got it using the vice grips on the handle of the T30 screwdriver. Broke free and unscrewed easily. Installed the new airbag frame and the horn works again.
