Storage - Battery disconnect?

I store my '03 986 for long periods with no access to an outlet for a battery tender.
What are the risks if I disconnect the battery to reduce drainage?
Thanks.
Pete

There's nothing really that will happen to the car. Make sure that you have your radio code so that you can tap it back in when you reconnect the battery. Keep in mind that your battery will still discharge slightly just sitting there, plugged in or not.
