Any word when Wayne's IMS upgrade kit will be ready?

I think so. I need to get the set screws and one other part for the kits, and then we're good to go.

Wayne, are you going to sell parts individually? I pulled my trans yesterday to install my LN kit, but I can't find those M6 set screws anywhere.

You can buy a pack on Amazon.com for about $6 for a hundred or so. Frankly, that's where I got them. Here's a link: Amazon.com: Alloy Steel Set Screw, Hex Socket Drive, Cup Point, M6-1, 20mm Length (Pack of 50): Industrial & Scientific

Shoot, looks like they are no longer available. I'll have to find a different source. In the meantime, I can probably just drop three in an envelope to you - email me your address.

That would be great, thanks! I need to order a few more things from you anyway.

What ever happened to 911ballin? He was all over this...must have sold the car or wore out his welcome.

Nice of Wayne to offer an alternative, but if you plan to keep the car, the LN bearing is the way to go. Please, no offense intended, as I have great respect for Wayne and have learned a great deal from his site on both my 911 based cars and the Box.

I was hoping to use the Pelican IMS kit but I ordered the LN Engineering kit from Wayne yesterday. I must have the Boxster reassembled and moved out of the garage within the next couple of weeks and I was not sure that the Pelican kit would be available to meet my deadline. I am sorry Wayne...

Any chance the country of origin of the bearing manufacture be disclosed? Sorry to be a stickler of this and it's not political. I know for a fact and experience, bearings made by Nice and SKF and depending where they are made can be of lower quality, especially those from China.

Just reading the LN site and their IMSR tool kit is only available with their bearing kit.

Wayne, will Pelican develop and sell a tool kit for their bearing replacement kit? Price?

Will Pellican include an RMS seal with their IMSR kit as does LN?
