Today's new owner panic moment
Yeah this might be worth a chuckle:
I took the Boxster and the Shih Tzu to the park today. I put the top up and then pushed the buttons to roll the windows up. The windows stopped short of going all the way up by at least 6 inches. "Holy @#%*#" I shouted! After figuring up how much money I had in the bank and what She Who Must Be Obeyed would say, I realized that I had not pushed the lever to lock the top back down. Of course all was well after that once I came home and changed my underwear. |

I feel your pain, brother. I traded in my one year old Toyota Highlander Sport (fully paid off) for an impractical, over-engineered German car. It's hard not to worry about it. But it's fun as hell to drive though!

I think everyone's done this. I did this with a friend in the car, I put the top up as we got in, and started to drive off as she is pushing the window button and I hear "hey your window won't roll up" and thought "ooooh that's going to be expensive". After a few seconds of fiddling and being frustrated, I look up to see the big latch is open.
