08 Cayman S excess vibration
How can I tell or what would I attempt to look at to track down excess motor vibration? When the revs hit about 2k the motor starts to vibrate more all the way up the rev band and back down. I replaced the OEM mount with a WEVO SS mount and checked the old OEM mount. It was partially torn. This was at about 28k miles.
The WEVO has greatly accentuated the vibration (obviously), but it just does not seem normal. I would expect vibrations to be linear. |
