Need help for 08' Cayman S timing
 
Hi
I'm new in this forum.
I want to know the timing check procedure of 08' Cayman S(M97.21).
Is this timing check procedures the same with 986??
If not,what different of assembly engine detail in these 2 vehicles??
Will very Gratitude for any advice.

I'd say if you're doing cam timing (which is I assume what you're talking about), it would probably be best to pick up a Cayman factory manual. My guess is that the Boxster manual of the same vintage would work, but if it were my engine, I'd get the Cayman manual.

Yes,
I'd like to engine assembling due to burn 1st connect rod bearing and crankshaft on 08' cayman s.
Just want to make sure correctly manual I had.
Of course.marked all bolta,items while disassembling and storaged well.
Will start this project on tmr...
