Garage door opener doesnt work
The garage door opener on my 2005 boxster doesn't seem to work. I programed it according to the owner's manuel and it seems like it accepted the code. But when I try the button it does not work. Any sugestions?

I'm in the same boat. My opener is a Craftsman unit. I'd love to hear some suggestions!

Garage Door Opener
Ok, include me in the group of klutz's that can't get the thing to work. I have followed the directions on my 2006 S several times and no luck. My opener is also a craftsmen. I guess if this is the only problem I have with this great car why complain?

It's possible that your garage door opener unit uses a wireless "rolling code", in which case you will have to access the opener itself and push a button to enable your homelink button to sync with the opener. (The unit should indicate the button to push). Just follow the instructions that came with the car. After you push the unit's button, you will have 30 sec to climb down from your ladder and toggle your homelink button.

Correct process: 1) Follow Porsche's programming instructions to the letter 2) Reset the receiver on the opener by holding down the programming button for ~20 seconds (this may be optional - you'll have to pair the receiver with all transmitters once you do this) 3) Hold down the Homelink button - the LED on the receiver should flash but the door will not open/close 4) Press the button on the receiver and release it immediately - DO NOT hold the button down like the instructions say 5) The receiver should click twice |
