Can you help. I have repaired the roof after a broken cable BUT now on closing the roof the tranmission, which is the later type with the switch, over rotates and this has now broken another cable. What do I adjust to stop this happening?

If the cable is breaking, then it most likely means that one side is out of adjustment with the other side. If you check the article, you will find the procedure for aligning the roof together using a power drill or the roof motor itself. You can also make sure that the switch is properly operating, otherwise it may not realize that the roof is actually closed. Now that I think of it, that is probably your issue.
