GT2 Wheels
Found some 2002 GT2 18" wheels for sale & I'm wondering if anyone knows if they will fit my '06 Cayman S. Sorry if there is a fitment section, but my search found nothing.

I'm waiting for the seller to get back to me, but a google search found:
Front 8.5 x 18 40mm Rear 12 x 18 45mm The 12" scares me, but seller says they have 295/30 ZR 18's mounted. |

I would be very surprised if they would fit - MOST base 996/997 wheels fit, but once you get into the Turbos/GT2s, they are quite a bit larger.

Agreed, I can't see how you would fit 12" rims

Thanks for the help. Talked to the seller who thinks they are 8" & 10" from a GT3. I should know specifics soon.

OK, I got some numbers:
Front: 8J X 18H2-ET50 Part #: 996.362.136.02 Rear: 11J X 18H2-ET45 Part #: 996.362.142.02 Since Porsche offers 19 x 11"s, I'm guessing they should fit. Last edited by enthuz; 01-08-2012 at 05:14 AM.. |

I have a Boxster with stock suspension. 996 turbo twists rims (18). I don't have the OEM numbers and offset 8.5 and 10s rear.
Fronts fit with no problem and yours will fit your car. I tried 11s in the back and the tires rub when cornering. There is an old thread of someone installing 11s with some fender rolling. I installed the 10s in the back with a 10mm spacer to clear the strut. It works. outer aspect of the wheel looks almost flush with the fender. I have my car getting some work done far from home but if you want I can take some pics.

Thank you for the responce. I don't want to get into rolling fenders, & I'd like some flexability with tire shapes, so I think I'll look for something in 8" & 10" widths. D*mn, the GT3 wheels look great!
