Question on a Cayman harness bar

Just curious if anyone has tried this. Can you fit a 986 Boxster stock roll bar into a 987 Cayman to use for added rollover protection and as a harness bar? I don't know if it would fit the 987 mounting points but if it does fit it seems like a very simple bolt on for added protection in track cars. There are tons of the stock 986 bars laying around after racing cages have been installed.

Anyone know??
