Boxster transmission upgrade

Anyone know if you can just bolt on a Boxster S 6 speed transmission to a 2.7L engine? I know you need the 6spd gearbox, but will everything else work?

Thanks..

It's certainly possible, since the 6-speed was offered in the 2006-2008 2.7L models as part of the package that included PASM.

It can be bolted on, however the transmission is longer than the 5 speed. The axles are also set at a different angle due to the length. I think there are also some differences in the bearings and CV joints. I can tell you that Boxster S CV boots dont last very long.
