response to your WTB posting...

I have a 03 Seal Gray Boxster S, 6 speed, gray leather, around 50,400 miles, carbon fiber interior trim, carerra 5 spoke 18" wheels, black convertable top, Lintronics, and the CDR-2300 Bose system. I bought the car early last summer from an estate, and it appears to have always been garaged, as it is now... (a 3rd car, so it sleeps in the garage most of the time). Just did the CV joints this summer, along with new front brake pads, and have been replacing most all small lights with LEDs. I still really like the car, but I'm willing to listen to what you have to say.

I'm in Florida. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks Pat; would have done the trick for me but for the fact that a friend just sold me his wife's '04 C4S Carrera Cabriolet at a price I couldn't turn down. So now I'm out of the 986/987 club, and must join the 911 forum with the really serious guys (I still think that a new gen 987, in good tune will show its heels to most 911's with the exception of a turbo or C4S.

Got lots of leftover parts, Evo cold air intake, 986s complete bumper cover, carbon fiber bra and an arctic silver Speed Lingerie and more. Ill be listing in parts for sale soon.
Best wishes,
Andy

Really Serious Guys

Perhaps you might want to take your parts over to the 911 forum and see if any of the "really serious guys" are interested.

just as "Clapton is God"; ALL of the Porsche family stands head and shoulders above the rest; considering quality, performance, and VALUE! It's just that on occasion I got the vibe from the 911 folks that my 986s had trainer-wheels on it. Or something like that...
