rear spoiler won't go all the way in
On my 2002 Boxster S the spoiler will raise and lower, but it is sticking about an 1/2 inch before closing. I can push it in by hand, but it is a bit hard to do this. Is there an adjustment? How do I do it?
Thank you |

I believe there is a switch internally that shuts it off when it's "parked"? But this shouldn't be shutting off early...

actually there is an adjustment but it's very unusual for it to go out of adjustment by itself. after removing the cover (held on with 3 plastic pins) you will see the 2 hex head that hold the main spoiler in place . loosen them and gently move the spoiler around to center it , you may have to try several time. most likely what happens is that the shaft has worn slightly causing the air spoiler to rub on the bumper cover.
