Substitute for Kluber Syntheso Glep?

Is there a substitute for Kluber Syntheso Glep (Porsche part# 000.043.204.68)? Something that I can purchase locally? I'm about to replace my AOS and was reading up on it on Mike Focke's website.

Kluber has a US headquarters (Londonderry, NH) that you can call to find out where retailers of their products are.

From their PDF on the product: "Kluber Syntheso Glep is a special lubricant for a wide variety of applications with an almost neutral behavior towards many elastomers (including EPDM) and plastics (except PC and ABS)"

A cheap and readily available (any auto parts store) substitute is dielectric grease, which is a silicone based lubricant for use on spark plug boots and the like. I have used it on many an AOS and never had problems.....

Thanks JFP, that saves me shipping times as I can get that locally. My AOS is coming tomorrow and I didn't want to wait on ordering the Kluber stuff to do the job.

Awesome, I just happened to have that *exact* dielectric grease in my garage. :)
