Torque Specs?

So I'm rebuilding my 986 2.5L Boxster engine and have requested torque specs for internal engine parts in a couple of forums with no response. I bought a Bentley Manual yesterday and was disappointed to find that there was NO information in Torque specs for Head Bolts, Main Bearing Bolts, Connecting Rod Bolts or anything I needed. Can anyone tell me ANYWHERE (other then Porsche that won't tell me) I can find this info? Is there a shop manual available to the public that I don't know about?

The factory workshop manuals have all of this information contained within. For the older cars, there used to be little spec books that would also have these.

Where did you finally get the information from?

Ahemm... Meister Google finds manuals for everything but to play by the rules, you might consider deleting after use...

Seriously though, you pay taxes that some of it funnels to your local library. Borrow the books from them and if they don't have it, they will order it. Talk only to the supervisor or head librarian, tell them exactly what you want, and suggest where to buy the books from too like Alibris or even from the dealer.
