Boxster Plastic Rear Window

How do you apply the Porsche Rear Window Polish with the Roll Bars in front of the window? I have a artificial left leg so I'm not to flexible.

Unhappy

That's a tough one, Fred.

I have all my limbs and it's still tough to clean/polish that back window. A lot has been said and recommended but I think the rear window plastic window is the bane of our beloved Boxsters

The only thing I can think of is hire/train a younger person who is flexible and then take him/her for a drive top-down.

Polishing the inside of the Boxster Rear Window

I have to plead guilty!! I smoke in the car on occasion and the smoke film is on the window.

Thanks Wayne, that's a good idea, we have some guys here in town that are good detailers too.

Please don't take this wrong, but smoke with the top down.

Wayne, it's true the inside doesn't get as dirty as the outside, but even after a while there is a film that slightly fogs the window and it does need a cleaning. When the car is new the gasing/fogging is worse but as the car "matures" it fogs less and less (thank goodness).

Wink Boxster Plastic Rear Window

Finally resolved!! A friend who is real flexible layed across the drivers seat and applied the polish to the rear window. The Porsche polish cleaned the inside of the rear window very nicely.
I will not smoke in the car again!!
Thanks for all the great advise.

rear windwo cleaning

Try Plexus cleaner (originally designed for aircraft windows). Works much better and relatively easy to apply. You will need to reach around roll-bars and spray on, wipe off to polish.

costs around $13/can -- on my second can in ~ 1year. Available through most "parts/stuff" retailers (performance products, tweeks, etc....)
