Durametric Activations
I'm familiar with most of the components on this list. But, what is the "switch-over valve (tuning flap)"?

On some model Porsches, the intake system has one or more vacuum-controlled tuning flaps that are able to switch between power- and torque-optimized geometry in the intake system.

Hmm, interesting. I'm guessing mine doesn't have that. I don't see anything that would resemble that in the intake system. Sounds like a cool feature, though.

My 3.2 engine did have 2 of those valves and flaps.
My 3.8 now does have one. I was able to test it's function with the durametric.. (An X51 intake system from the 996/997 models has none, it got eliminated, but I believe almost all Boxsters should have at least 1 of those flaps?)
