Boxster Tiptronic shifter plate
Can someone tell me how to remove the Tiptronic shifter plate on an 02? I am assuming its lift up on one end or the other but I dont want to force it. Its holding on pretty tight and doesnt want to give. I am trying to accomplish 2 things by removing it, I need to clean the the piece that covers the shifter slot - (coffee spill ) and while I am at it I want to see if a leather boot will work in the place of the too obvious "automatic" look shift plate. Trying to disguise it! I guess while I am at it how do you remove the shift knob??
