Brake pads only 1/4 of previous miles?
 

OK, I am not happy with the number of miles I got from my latest pads. I have owned my 2000S since new. At 115k my "BRAKE WEAR" light came on. I changed my front pads (to Textar) and rotor. At 125k I changed the rears, also with Textar. 30k later the 'BRAKE WEAR' light came on. The front pads are thin. Whatever the factory put in my car, I want them. They stopped great and lasted forever. Does anybody have a recomendation on a pad that will give me what the factory gave me?

That's very strange, indeed, as Textar is an OEM manufacturer for Boxster brake pads.

What brand rotors did you use?

Rotors were Zimmerman on the fronts, Balo on the rear. The rotors look OK; no grooves, very little were (which you'd expect after only 30K miles).
