Boxster & Cayman Owners! Check out our Fuel Fill Solution DIY!

Frustrated with the fact that you can't fill your 996, Boxster or Cayman's fuel tank to the brim? We have a simple solution and it's outlined in this quick tech article featuring a $9 Genuine Porsche part! Follow the instructions below and start filling that tank.

CLICK HERE to read the DIY.

Once you've looked over and read the article you're ready to do this quick installation of the Fuel Delivery Adapter Bracket. It simply slips over your Porsche's fuel filler neck and relieves pressure which would have otherwise triggered the pump handle to auto shut-off.

CLICK HERE to purchase a bracket adapter.

Let me know if you have any questions!

If you rotate the pump handle 180 degrees so the trigger is pointing up it fixes this issue.

No worries. Yes, we do discuss that at Figure 2 in our tech article.

Are you sure?

My 2001 Boxster has a black sleeve around the top portion of the filler tube plus a "button" that's obviously activated when the gas cap is installed.

There's no way this part will fit.

Yes, here it is.

The black "sleeve" extends from about 11 o'clock around to about 4 o'clock. You can see the 11 o'clock portion in the photo, that is the front of the car is to the right.

The inner rectangle is the button, the outer maybe protection for that button.

It does push down a little bit on the button, but it should install on yours. Here is it installed on our Boxster.

Good luck ... if yours is like mine, there's no way in heck it will fit.
