Key remote & Durametric

G'Day All,

Sorry if this one has been done to death, but I can't seem to find a thread with the same symptoms.
My key remote has stopped working (no lock/unlock, no boot opening, but key LED still lights up). Key works fine in the car & alarm arms normally. Central locking switch works in car.
Durametric shows alarm fault code 59 regularly (central locking switch limit not reached) & had one alarm fault code 23 a while ago. Tried to use the Durametric alarm activations page, but none of them appear to do anything. The car is ROW (Australia - RH drive) 2001 Boxster S. On the alarm sensor page in Durametric, the sensors mostly appear out if whack, eg. Open the drivers door, shows "alarm horn - closed".
Has anyone got any advice or experienced similar??!?

I've had similar experiences with trying other activations -- Durametric told me that their tool works the same way as the factory PIWIS. I just tried all the other activations on the page to see what they actually correspond to.
