Dream 1 and tips install on Cayman
Hi,
So I couldn't stand the looks of the factory tip and went looking for another one. I read some articles as well on the twin diverter from BC Velocity Exhaust (Dream 1) and decided to add it and the Agency Power tips to my Cayman S. Both products looked great ![]() The directions for installing the dream 1 were good, but with any exhaust project I knew it was going to be a pain. Lots on bolt soaking prior to. ![]() Reading the directions it said to unbolt the brackets from the T connector and slide them to the side, well I tried for ever to get them moved, but they wouldn't budge. I took a mirror to the back and found that both clamps are held on with a spot weld. ![]() ![]() You also have to completely undo the right side exhaust to man handle it out of the way to get the factory T pipe off. I'm glad I bought a rubber mallet the night before as I did a lot of banging with it. ![]() ![]() ![]() Finally got everything on (with a lot of wrestling, and bolted her all up. ![]() Suppose to be good for 5 HP and a few miles of driving ![]() ![]()
