Parting out a 99 Boxster

I wrecked my car and the engine still runs so I'm going to sell that first. What other parts are of value besides the transmission?

Funny, usually it's the engine that blows up. This one is unusual. You could probably find a good used Boxster with a blown engine for super-cheap and simply swap yours in.

It's crossed my mind, but I don't know if I'm capable of replacing an engine (and the Porsche dealership charges $4k in labor)

I think I want my next Boxster to be a 2.7 or higher and this one is a 2.5... Solid engine though- 125k and never had a problem. I dunno. Maybe I should just sell the whole car and not deal with it anymore.

Do you still have the rear aluminum engine cover, that is located under the transmission? I was working on my ride, I removed it and set it outside. Someone needed it more than me and stole it.
