Boxster Front Brakes locking
I replaced my 2000 Boxster's brake master cylinder, then bled the brakes using a pressure bleeder and new brake fluid. After following all the steps listed in 101 Projects for your Porsche Boxster, the brake pedal had the required stiffness as required. The car stopped fine on a test drive, but the next day, the front brakes locked on me after 10 miles. Both front rims were very hot to the touch. The brakes unlocked after a twenty minute cool down period, then was able to limp the car back to my regular mechanic. This has happened twice now. What's going on?

Cars with ABS/PSM require a special bleeding process when air gets into the ABS/PSM control network, which it most likely did when you replaced the master. To get the air out of the ABS system, you need to activate the system pump and controls while pressure bleeding it, which requires the Durametric system, a PIWIS or the PST II diagnostic tool.
