986 clutch alignment tool same as 944 NA's ??

Is the 986 clutch alignment tool same as 944 NA's ?? I got one for 944. Not sure if I will have to get another one for my 986...

5 or 6 speed? The 944 tool should work with the six speed unit but the 5 speed uses a VW/Audi spline pattern.
