Any idea what this connector is for ???

Found it in the shifter console. the following numbers where listed 1-929 529, AMP 1-828 8191, BMW 1-378 134.

The nice thing is that, if you want to integrate your garage door opener or another accessory, you can pull 12 V constant and switched power off of that plug. I added a garage door opener button to my center console using that for switched power.

Any idea where I can find a wiring diagram for this connector

Looking to find the power and ground, may use for my next sat radio install.

Where was it? Did you have to pull the entire console to get at it? Be nice to know if it's switched 12V or not!

If you pull out the console piece in front of the shifter (where the GT3 console would go), it's usually just sitting right inside there.

It is switched 12v. I've tapped my radar detector into it.
