Body Module repair/replace

looking at an 03 S....lights only work on high beam and the heater fan doesn't blow...A/C works fine (supposedly)....mechanic thinks it's a body module for each problem and they cost $500 +- for each module...not too much labor, easily replaced....does this sound right?

Sounds like a car with electrical problems.

Not understanding the term "body module" he is using.

Do you know if it has a "Sandy" history? Get it checked for water intrusion. Check for the remote key functions working as a very basic check.

Lights could be bulbs, corroded connections, relay, switch. None expensive. Probably similar for heater blower motor.

Nearest P-car dealer in Fayetteville or Cary. P-car indies again are Cary and beyond.
