hello! nice manual!! i have two questions regarding this: first, i have a 996 of 1999, is it the same way to go as you show in your great manual? secondly, in the figure 8 the poor mans version you write "and then connect the green ground wire to pin 4 of both switches". hmm, i cant see anywhere a green wire in your pictures. do you mean the wire seen in figure 5 in picture A, the one with the "ring"?
thank you very much! luca __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: Pelican Technical Article: Boxster On Board Computer (OBC) Upgrade / Boxster Turn Signal Switch Replacement - 986 Boxster (1997-04) - |
Yes the instructions for the Boxster should be the same as for the 996. If were talking about ground wires that all you need to do is tie a wire from that came to a metal plate on the chassis, similar to what you see in the lower right-hand corner of figure 3. Hope this helps.
